We “Snowmads” produce ski and adventure films in remote destinations. On the road with the Snowmads Truck, our mission is to build bridges, get fresh perspectives and explore the untouched places of this world.
Learning & growth happens when the comfort zone ends and an adventure starts. Where we find this place is different for each one of us. That\’s why we launched the travel agency “Snowmads Travel”, to make the experiences gained during our travels available to a wider audience.
Our travel programs are not for professional athletes or full-time adventurers, but for those ready to leave routines behind and broaden their horizon.
If not stated us such, the Snowmads athletes will not be part of your trip. Our local friends will guide you through their homes and you will experience these beautiful places through the eyes of them.
With the Innsbruck Freeride Experience you have the chance to explore our home mountains with one of our pro athletes.
The most beautiful places and inspiring encounters are often found in areas where getting to becomes an adventure in itself. The Snowmads Truck provides us with the opportunity to explore such places; With skis, snowboards, on foot or whatever.
With the impressions and experiences gained we can then put together interesting travel packages off the beaten path and make these places accessible to you via specially selected accommodations.

Our trips are masterminded by professional athletes, but you definitely don\’t have to be one to join us on them. For us sport is above all a medium to connect people and realise dreams, whether it\’s winter or summer. Some skills may be required depending on the adventure, but mostly our journeys are designed for anyone that\’s motivated, fit and excited to broaden their horizons.
Snowmads is for everyone who senses a call for adventure and is attracted by our way of traveling. Depending on the trip a certain fitness and skill level will be required, but we are not aiming at a certain nationality, age group or gender.
The scaling gives you an idea about required skill levels, endurance and the adventure character of our trips. If you want to get further info on the packages check the section “Trip Info” or contact us.
If you want to travel individually in your own rhythm, we usually can offer private group trips to your destination. It is also possible to change the packages or even to put together new tailor made trips in your style. Just contact us and let us know your preferred destination and time window. Depending on the program and the group size, we will put together an offer for your private trip.
There are always options to organize extra transports or just have a rest in one of the guesthouses. We will always be able to put the group back together as soon as necessary.
As most of our customers already have some travel experience, we found that people prefer to book flights by themselves. If you wish, we can send you an offer and book the flights for you, just mention it in the inquiry form.
We highly recommend all participants to get a travel insurance. This can save a lot of trouble and money. If you already have an insurance, check again which costs will be covered.
